Once Upon A Bookshop was set up by former primary school teacher Keely Horn, and helps schools obtain new books from award-winning publisher Usborne – all without having to spend a penny of their budget.

Keely had successfully run her business for almost eight years without having any real branding, but had reached the point where she wanted to improve the way she communicated visually with her customers.

I created a new logo and simple brand, based around the themes of fairytales and children’s books, and produced a simple guide to using colours and type to present a consistent message in her social media.

Nick was amazing! I had absolutely no idea what I wanted from a logo, style or even colours. He asked the right questions to find out what I required which gave me the opportunity to really think about my business, who my audience are and what my values. We spoke at length over the phone for him to really understand what I needed so he could go away and work his magic. I was so impressed… Nick absolutely nailed the brief and exceeded my expectations. I finally feel like I have an identity, the typography and colours are stunning, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.
